2005 ·  Charmaine's daughter, Charlie, is born.
·  The fields on which she played as a youth with the Nepean Hotspurs were renamed to commemorate her on-field achievements. The Colonnade Soccer Fields were officially renamed as the Charmaine Hooper Soccer Fields on June 24th. See an image HERE.

Canadian National Team

  ·  124 International Caps (Canada's all-time leader).
·  64 International Goals (Canada's all-time leader).

2003 ·  Earned her 100th cap against Mexico on September 4th.
·  Played in all six games in the Women's World Cup as a defender and scored two goals.
·  Named to the Women's World Cup all-star team.

2002 ·  Played in all five games at the Gold Cup and was top scorer with seven goals (tied with Christine Sinclair and Tiffeny Milbrett).

2001 ·  Scored the winning goal in Canada's 3-1 victory over the US in November.
·  Became Canada's all-time leader in caps when she made her 73rd appearance against Portugal on March 15th.
